Pakistan hosts notable deposits of moonstone, mainly found in its northern mountainous regions, where the geological conditions favor the formation of feldspar minerals:

Gilgit-Baltistan (Skardu and Hunza): Known for transparent to bluish-white moonstones with strong iridescence.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Swat and Dir): Yields white and grey moonstones, often used in gemstone markets locally and abroad.
Baluchistan: Smaller occurrences reported alongside other pegmatite minerals.
